The Great Robbery story

Few days ago on Essen Spiel 2017 some unknown individual stole our money case from our booth. It was Research and Development's funds for next few months, now those funds are now gone. We decided to try to compensate that by releasing a special miniature that will work with both AvP and Warzone. All money from its sales are going to be put into development of AvP and Warzone.

Rob Yourstand can be used both in AvP and Warzone - you can download rules from our website.

Its a real shame that anyone would pull such a terrible stunt. That said, commemorating the event in such a manner is kind of awesome. Way to keep it classy Prodos! I've added the Rob Yourstand miniature to my wishlist and hope to add it to my collection soon. Only shame about the mini is the lack of card listed with its item listing. The special card/rules download is nice though.

Looking forward to adding some Unicast miniatures to my election too!

The new aliens are actually just bad. They work and look good for a boardgame but looks wise they utterly fail for a minature game. To really push the game you have to design them for both.

Just because you can mold a model onto a scenic base does not mean it is always a good idea.

I personally thought the new unicasts were hit and miss. I really liked the large pipe on the one miniature. The one with the Warrior crouched over some smaller pipes looked nice, but the other three while decent felt a little uninspired. Regardless, they seem to be of the same quality of the miniatures in the second edition starter box, so overall I'm pretty happy with it. I got one box of the unicast warriors the other day just to see how they look, I'll be adding more of them to my collection.

I actually like them for AVP. It is kind of a board/miniature game hybrid, or a gateway drug if you prefer. Having the models already assembled with bases cuts some of the barrier to entry for folks unfamiliar with miniature wargaming. Warzone, on the other hand, I'm not a big fan of molded on bases. WZR is more of the "complete hobby" miniature game and having to try and saw models off of their base so that they can match my preference for basing is a pain. Prodos, this is all just my opinion, but would it hurt to check with your loyal fanbase to see if we have a vocal minority who dislikes molded on bases?

Got the batch I ordered the other day to include a few of the unicasts other than the Warriors. In addition to the two additional bungles of Warriors I picked up, I also got a unicast Predalien and a Rob Yourstand.

I didn't pick up one of the unicast Queens yet, but I plan to pick up a duo of them for use as Praetorians eventually. At a glance, they look a little thicker built and slightly smaller than the current Queen model (If you ignore that massive half doorway they decided to frame her with.)

The Predalien is nice, but I actually like multi piece model quite a bit better. The unicast looks a little like its taking classes to become a ballerina.

My opinion of the Warriors speaks for itself. I liked the first set I got my hands on enough that I ordered up two more lots of them for a total of 15 unicast warriors. And Im pretty sure I'll be ordering up a couple more lots eventually. I was thinking I'd paint two sets of them black, but neon green inside of the head ridges then use them as spitters, if I do the same thing with a couple set of the multi-part figures I should be able to field a couple of large groups of spitters in my game that way.

The Rob Yourstand is every bit as fun as the image implies. I was pleasantly surprised to find a card for the miniature even if there was no token like the rest of the models in the game has. The only real complaint I have is that he looks VERY small on the 40mm base he comes with. All said and done, he's a nice model and I thought it was for a good cause. Very happy that I was able to add that one to my collection.

hello :]
Models are great :] but i think Old Queen is better, i dont like such lots big terrein on new one ;] but still its great model.

about Aliens in Unleashed.... all factions have great rules, realy great, with 1 exepcion... i hate ALIEN models that can shoot... especially Splitters.... its KILLS army climate.

Few models (HQ or somthing like this) on 6 ineches... oki. But on 12-18-24 inches ? its Sucks....

I know that some players may cry that other armies can shoot xD and aliens no, but F.... THIS xD Aliens have lots models and lots options to go to HTH... they dont need SHOOTING...

CY :]
