Yes to the engaged tile question. It's a desperate thing peeling bugs off your friends back with an assault rifle. If you aim it mitigates the combat penalty and preds* are comfortable in CQB with most aliens anyway.

I just got the upgrade pack for my first edition AVP THB and was reading the rules and looking at the new cards. I know CC weapons now modify the models strength and is shown as a +#. The Smart disc now only shows a +1 for both its RS and CC; is this intentional or a typo? Second question about CC, the rules don't state it directly but once in an engaged tile only CC attacks can be used to attack models in the tile unless a model wants to shoot at another tile for -10 to RS?
