I don't mind that the female version is smaller (look at vasquez and Drake), I'm annoyed that the Smart Gun is noticeably smaller ;).

Thank you for the nice words about the bases :). I took some time to made them to look the part. It was an easy job though, I just copied the NECA alien figure, fits nicely :)

I'm going to use them on proper bases so the height difference should be negligible. I wouldn't mix them with older resins, looked hilarious :D.

On further inspection and adjusting the height difference by adding a temporary base I must say it's not that bad. One thing that bothers me the most is the smaller version of the smartgun (about 1mm shorter) and 2 of the M41A1's that are also shorter (look at the magazine on the last model). Could be a different model of a gun (carbine?) and it's not that noticeable from the distance, altough I still think that the models should be about 10% bigger and that wouldn't be a problem at all.

Yeah I can do that this evening, I'll put them on simillar height bases.

And some comparison shots of the new Marines. Mostly I've got beef with the smartgun, but the rest is passable.

I really love the minis and I'm going to start painting them up really soon. The bases are done (just missing 2 bases, one for Alien Warrior and 1 for extra Alien infant that I managed to assemble from spares) and the facehuggers needs some cleaning up.
All I'm missing are some HQs for Marines which is a bummer, making some Elder Predators (probably just different colors, maybe a little cape or something) and some nice terrain, which I'm still thinking about, cause the Unleashed rulebook isn't very specific on which types of terrain should one play.

Predators are least affected, about 2-3mm so not noticeable at all. I don't have the cloaked Predators so I can't compare unfortunately.
