Thanks for the pics - not as bad as I thought from the smartgun comparison - some of which must be down to the male/female models. As you say, the rifles seem to hae shrunk quite a bit though!

I think in a big force on the tabletop they mix okay - especially once painted. Just not together in the same squad.

Could we get some side-by-side shots of the 1st and 2nd ed marines please, Gacu? (perhaps with some coins under the new ones so the bases are level with the old?)

Can't really tell scaling from the close-up shots as the 2nd ed guys are in front!

Yeah I saw some more comparision pictures of the preds over on BGG - looked pretty much the same.

I don't *think* anyone has the clear preds yet (I'm hoping Prodos will send me my Kickstarter pledge once these are ready!), but I saw an image of the sprue posted over at DakkaDakka in the middle of March so hopefully not much longer to wait!!!

Agreed - I recall from his postings a couple of months ago that irish1983 places the blame for anyone not having our pledges yet entirely at the door of the backers. If we're not incompetent in filling out the pledge manager then we're trolls or liars. If we're not either of those then clearly we haven't been pro-active enough in contacting Prodos (because apparently they can't be trusted to send the pledges without our continued prompting).

Afterall, everyone *he* knows has their stuff, so Prodos can't possibly have ignored anyone else, can they? Never mind the Facebook updates from Jarek where he's admitted that pledges are still being sent out.

Really reminds me of that Brandon Leigh guy who comments on Prodos' Facebook page - always blaming the KS backers for not contacting Prodos, but never actually giving an e-mail address that actually produces a response!

Personally I'm waiting for Prodos to finally finish production on the cloaked predators before attempting to contact them by e-mail, so that I can get my whole pledge in one go.

Prodos is based in Poland. They did have a small satellite UK setup at the time of the Kickstarter but my understanding is that was wrapped up a while ago.

Those Kickstarter backers who have reported delivery say it's come straight from Poland.

Yes, as far as I know the Warzone Kickstarter pledges were fulfilled - though wave 2 took Prodos around a year to send out.

It's a fairly commonly held belief among the AvP backers that the AvP Kickstarter was used at least partly to fund wave 2 of the Warzone Kickstarter.

Its probably because all of you that havent got it yet never backed the KS or never updated your pledge management info. IE they cant ship to you unless you did that. Waiting "years" to figure that out makes you look like liars or trolls (or worse). i dont personally know a single KS backer who hasnt gotten their stuff long ago (excpet for the cloaked preds which arent in production yet).

So your assumption is that a bunch of people have just been bad-mouthing Prodos for the past two years for no reason at all? Sure.

For the record, here's a screen grab of the latest backer-only update from Prodos, where they say they're aware that backers are still waiting, and that in some cases Prodos are delaying shipment on anything until the entire order is ready:

The pledge manager itself reads 'Awaiting', which I'm given to understand from other backers means it's complete and waiting for Prodos to fulfill. I have yet to receive anything at all, so I assume I'll be waiting until they figure out how to make the Clear preds before I get any of it. (apparently the resin they were planning to use is now banned in the EU for being toxic XD).

Meanwhile the base game has been on retail shelves for around 18 months, Prodos did a firesale on the range last summer at 30-40% off (so less than Kickstarter prices), and Prodos have admitted to sending some backers two lots of pledge rewards, yet sending anything to me is apparently too costly.
